The Chang-Hong Kong-Macao Overseas Chinese Medicine and Health Industry Development Conference held on the same day attracted many industry participants to seek cooperation opportunities and promote the further strengthening of the Chinese medicine industry in domestic and overseas markets.
Last month, Xu visited 17 pharmaceutical companies in Jilin province and signed an agreement with one in Tonghua to cooperate on product marketing, academic exchanges and talent training.
Xu said that Northeast China’s ginseng, deer antler, reishi and other products have the potential to further explore the international market, and he is willing to help more Chinese enterprises “go to sea”.
Guan Shuquan, president of the Chinese Pharmaceutical Association of Macau, said that Macao is an international free port, which can bring convenient conditions for mainland Chinese medicine enterprises with import and export needs.
At the same time, Macao has close business contacts with Portuguese-speaking countries, which can better promote traditional Chinese medicine products and culture. In recent years, he has returned to Northeast China many times, set up enterprises in Liaoning, and visited Heilongjiang. He believes that the meeting will bring incentives to local Chinese medicine counterparts and promote new cooperation.
The 2024 Changchun International Medical and Health Industry Expo is being held, with a total of more than 50 Hong Kong, Macao and overseas Chinese medical and health enterprises attending. From Hong Kong, Wei Yuantang Pharmaceutical Holdings Limited to Changchun for the first time to participate in the exhibition, bringing Angong Niuhuang pill, Yangyin pill and other products.
Liu Haiyan, the company’s head of mainland brands, found that people in the northeast had a good understanding of their brands and products, which gave her the confidence to do well in this market.
On the same day, the Chang-Hong Kong-Macao Traditional Chinese Medicine Development Alliance was officially established, and all parties will commit to jointly promote the development of traditional Chinese medicine industry.
