Diabetes Is Not Achieved Overnight, 8 Bad Habits Are Not Changed Early, Be Careful to Get Used to Diabetes

Diabetes is a metabolic disease. Persistent hyperglycemia and long-term metabolic disorders will cause damage to tissues and organs of the whole body, especially the cardiovascular system, nervous system, eyes and kidneys, and even cause dehydration, electrolyte disturbance and acid-base balance imbalance, inducing acute complications such as hypertonic coma and ketoacidosis. Now the incidence of diabetes is very high and young, which is mainly related to bad habits.

What bad habits will be used to diabetes?

Chronic diseases have not been effectively controlled

Obesity, abnormal blood lipids and blood pressure, and insulin resistance are often accompanied by diabetes, which is collectively known as metabolic syndrome. Poor control of blood pressure, blood lipids and uric acid can affect blood sugar levels and increase the risk of diabetes.

Sitting still for long periods of time

Most type 2 diabetes is caused by lack of exercise. Sitting for long periods of time on the phone and computer, even all day, can increase weight, waist circumference, fat and lipid distribution, decrease insulin sensitivity, and eventually lead to diabetes.

Vitamin D deficiency

Studies have shown that the lower the amount of vitamin D in the body, the higher the risk of diabetes. Vitamin D plays a vital role in the function of the pancreas, which may be so small, but it is an important organ in the body that secretes insulin and helps regulate blood sugar. Vitamin D can be obtained from dairy products, eggs, and salmon pine, as well as from moderate exposure to the sun.

Too much stress

Chronically high stress levels can increase the risk of type 2 diabetes because stress affects cortisol levels and raises blood sugar levels, causing them to get out of whack. In addition, when the pressure is too large, it can also cause insomnia and dream and immunity decline, which is easy to cause diabetes. In addition, long-term exposure to negative emotions such as excessive anxiety and depression will cause abnormal secretion of glucose-raising hormones in the body, resulting in elevated blood sugar.

Snore during sleep

Many people think that snoring during sleep is a minor problem. People who snore during sleep can develop apnea syndrome, daytime sleepiness and insomnia, which is called sleep apnea syndrome. Because snoring will make the body temporarily hypoxia, affect endocrine hormones, so that each cell does not respond to the normal concentration of insulin, resulting in a rise in blood sugar.

Always staying up late

Nowadays the job competition is fierce and the pace of life is quickening, overtime work has become a common problem. But it’s not alarmist to say that always staying up late can affect blood sugar levels. Because staying up late for a long time will increase the release of hormones that increase blood sugar and weaken the hypoglycemic ability of insulin. In addition, long-term lack of sleep will increase the degree of hunger and increase people’s appetite, coupled with the body is too tired, the amount of activity has been reduced, resulting in obesity and overweight, causing diabetes.

Eat refined rice noodles often

Nowadays, the quality of people’s living standards has improved, and the diet has become more and more refined, and the rice noodles eaten have been processed many times, resulting in the loss of vitamins and dietary fiber. Eating a lot of refined rice noodles will increase blood sugar, increase the burden of islet cells, and thus affect insulin sensitivity.
conclusion
Timely correct the bad habits in life, control the daily total calorie intake, can not eat big fish, actively control weight and waist circumference, to avoid too fat body. Try to choose foods containing dietary fiber, such as vegetables and whole grains can slow down digestion and delay post-meal blood sugar rise.
